Part of "The Milkmaid" by Johannes Vermeer, painted 1657 or 1658, from close to the lower left-hand corner of the painting, showing the patch of floor where the clothes basket was painted over, the distinctive, brilliant blue of the maid's dress and the foot warmer, a much-discussed symbol in the painting, as well as the Delft tiles showing Cupid (to the left of the foot warmer) and a man with a pole or similar object (to the right of the foot warmer).
